Inserting Advertiser Links

Question: When I get the code from an advertiser and put it in the HTML Markup box it looks ok. The yellow box shows up on my design view and I can make changes. The problem comes when I save it and then refresh the screen. The yellow box disappears even though the code is there and the link is visible in preview. The only way I can see the yellow box in design mode is if I use reveal tags. This is difficult if this is the only way to see this code in design view. The other problem is that when I do try to edit the hyperlink text part of the markup I can only change the size and script of the font, not the color.

Answer: The problem is using the HTML insert function or HTML Markup...when you do this it causes FrontPage to add a "WebBot" before and after the code...this will cause it to be hidden in normal view. If you will be using the HTML Markup box to add the code you need to go into the HTML view and remove both the webbot spans before and after the <a and </a> tags"<!--WEBBOT bot="HTMLMarkup" startspan -->" "<!--WEBBOT bot="HTMLMarkup" endspan -->"
